The Indian Jungles

Ever since I first read Rudyard Kipling's «Jungle Book» it had been a dream of mine to see the magnificent Indian jungles. Today, there are only tiny, isolated pockets of the former expanse of jungles left. This gallery contains a selection of photographs captured in Kanha National Park, Pench Tiger Reserve, Ranthambore National Park, and Nagarhole Tiger Reserve. Additionally, I have placed a range of images from Gir Forest National Park in Gujarat, where the last remaining Asiatic lions still roam.
