Chobe, Victoria Falls and Hwange
The areas around the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi rivers in Botswana and Zimbabwe, their continuation east towards the magnificent Victoria Falls, and Hwange National Park further south allow for very special wildlife and wilderness experiences. Unfortunately the Chobe river front as well as Victoria Falls National Park have become rather busy in recent years, and Hwange has made headlines for poaching and disturbed forms of trophy hunting. But if you avoid the crowds, you will discover the truly unique scenery these ecosystems offer.
