Spectacular Views

Landscapes, animalscapes, and aerial photographs as a tribute to some of the world's

last remaining wilderness areas.

While I thoroughly appreciate well-crafted landscape photography, I often find that setting a scene is somewhat repeatable unless it contains a specific element that ties a beautiful panorama to unique moment in time. Where such an element appears in the form of wildlife, I like to call these photographs animalscapes. But magic moments can also be created by atmospheric, astronomic, or otherwise light-related factors.

Aerial photographs made from low flying light aircraft, and on rare occasions, images captured at high altitude from airliners provide fascinating additions and sometimes turn into informative geography lessons.

When stars align, landscapes, animalscapes, and aerial photographs touch the heart, teaching us about the importance of looking after our natural world and inviting us to extend kindness to other species.
